- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
I am a CERC post-doctoral fellow at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. I completed my Bachelor of Science (Agriculture Biotechnology) from Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, India and followed that with Graduate Diploma of Science (Biotechnology) and Doctor of Philosophy at Swinburne University of Technology.
I have worked on different aspects of microbiology and chemical analyses of natural medicines, food and dairy products such as cheese, milk and meat samples in addition to clinical samples such as faecal and blood. My other specialisations include bioprocessing, wastewater treatment and food process (sampling, genomics/ proteome/ metabolome analysis, Chemometrics, flux studies based on LC-MS and GC-MS). I have come to work with various analyses in microbiology (culturing, sampling and analysis) and chemistry (enzymes, metals and ions among many), including wet- and dry-lab experiments (statistical analysis and modelling).
Although multidisciplinary, the major focus of my current research is towards the development of interactome model of host-parasitic relationships using a multi-omics approach, through both mouse and clinical models.
