After an Mchem at the University of York and some time in industry, Oscar completed a PhD in the Rijs group at UNSW Sydney. Here he applied ion mobility-mass spectrometry to analyse the interactions between metals and ligands. Since finishing his PhD he has worked at the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Melbourne, applying mass spectrometry to tricky immunology problems.
