Mahya is dedicated to advancing agricultural and food innovation through interdisciplinary research. Her expertise lies at the intersection of food proteomics, agricultural biotechnology, plant protection. Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher at CSIRO, Mahya is focused on valorising agricultural and food waste to identify bioactive peptides and metabolites. Her work aims to develop sustainable solutions that add value to food waste and agricultural by-products, contributing to the advancement of a circular bioeconomy.
