- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Shaun is a PhD student in Chemistry at the University of Adelaide, with interests in native mass spectrometry, proteomics and synthetic chemistry. He completed his BSc and MPhil at the University of Adelaide, where his research focused on the study of misfolding proteins in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease, before developing novel mass spectrometry-based immunoassays to aid the detection of these proteins as a potential diagnostic tool. For his PhD, Shaun's research now aims to develop techniques in top-down proteomics, directed at the characterisation of snake venom proteins.
