Katherine is currently a Research Fellow at the Australian Research Council’s Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology at Macquarie University. Her expertise and training lie in analytical glycobiology, using liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry to study and structurally characterise protein- and lipid-linked glycans. She has a strong interest in experimental and informatics technology development for glycomics, and in systems (glyco)biology approaches to understand mechanisms of disease.
